Our Excess/Surplus Inventory Management & Asset Recovery services are designed to provide your company with the quickest and largest return available. We offer the following options for Asset Recovery.
Line Item Bid
We review your part numbers and identify the OEM’s and other end users within the marketplace that utilize your material.
We then contact the prospective purchaser of your inventory and discuss their current needs to determine if the parts available satisfy a particular requirement. If, in fact, your parts are of interest, we then work to negotiate the best price possible while also working to liquidate your entire inventory of the parts in discussion.
Through our database of current and past Manufacturers’ parts requirements along with our Build of Materials histories, we are able to identify additional end users that may have an interest in purchasing your product, accelerating the disposal of your excess inventory at its highest value.
Whole Lot Bid
In many cases, we have the capability of finding demand for a large portion of your entire excess inventory list in a single transaction. This allows your company to quickly convert capital associated with your inventory into a liquid asset that can be better employed elsewhere within your company. By performing such a service, not only are you provided liquidity, your company recognizes the additional benefit of freeing up resources necessary to maintain, store and control this unneeded inventory.
Line Item Availability Marketing
We market your inventory list through over 50 websites and we submit the inventory list to our entire database, line by line. Additionally, we don’t passively sit by and wait for activity to take place. We are actively in the marketplace seeking out opportunities in which we can match your inventory with the current needs of companies.
When demand for any of your product lines arises in the market, we are notified and our sales team aggressively pursues the sale of the item, typically resulting in a greater value to you.
Your facility then ships the line item to us where we confirm its conformance with the customer’s need and promptly ship it on to the customer.
Under this scenario, the entire inventory remains in your possession until a purchase order is created minimizing your exposure. Additionally, you carry no risk with regard to receipt of funds from the end-user as we act as the middle man and carry the obligation of insuring your payment by the issuance of our own purchase order to you with the associated payment responsibility.
Contracted Consignment
With this option, we take possession of your inventory under a contract of consignment. While in our possession, title to the inventory remains with you. Additionally, your assets are segregated and insured to maintain full integrity of your inventory and to allow for on-site inspection by your staff with minimal notice. Monthly, we provide you with a report detailing all items sold and the pricing associated with those items. We then wire you the agreed upon percentage of the funds received no later than the twentieth of the following month from receipt of funds.
Whenever your company needs any material shipped back for repair, production or new demand, we do so at no cost to you other than direct shipping costs.
Our breakdown of compensation is determined by the nature of your material, related documentation, its condition, the type of commodity and our analysis of current demand in the marketplace.
From well-established relationships within the major manufacturing and contract manufacturing entities throughout the world, we have access to a great deal of insight regarding current production needs globally.
Your excess inventory is matched line by line with our clients’ demand lists, which are constantly reviewed and uploaded into our database.
Our goal is to find a home for the majority of your excess inventory in as short a time frame as possible, allowing us to return to you the most dollar value available.
